Staffroom

There is a designated special room on the office block that serves all the staff of the school exclusive of the lowest non-teaching staff. It is well designed with floor tiles. It has metallic windows and doors with glasses. It is painted with cream and grey colours. Within it are nice hanging shelves, the timber rails for the staff to keep their properties such as bags and books. This room is furnished with factory refined comfortable tables with chairs to enable the users execute their tasks well. Inside still are drawers and cupboards to keep utensils safe and clean. There is a long food serving counter where the staff get their food by self-service arrangement.

Noteworthy, the staff has its own entertainment and information gadgets. There is a modern flat screen television set connected to digital television, a music system with radio plus a complete fixed computer set (work station) connected to the stable constant internet. These are intended to create and offer relaxation, comfort and appeasement to the rather vibrant staff.

Staff Residences

MATCO established well planned modern and comfortable self-contained staff houses for their accommodation. They are located in the proximity of the school. They are separate in terms of gender. Apart from being bungalows, they’re plastered and painted with attractive sky blue, white, cream and gray colours. Each unit has self-contained bedroom, living room, a lavatory, wash room, washing bay, kitchen and store. They’re served with digital television. There is a television in every housing unit. Still, each unit has a separate power and water meter. They are all enclosed in a boundary wall and a gate manned by security guards. The school caters for all the accommodation and related expenses.

Most importantly, the top school administrators have separate special residences that is the Director, the Head teacher, the Deputy head teacher, DOS and Dean of students. They enjoy similar services stated above but they also obtain special allowances for evening and morning supervision, welfare, airtime, data and travelling for official duties.

Masaka Town College is a prestigious secondary school in Uganda established in 2002.
