Expectedly, we work very closely with the director of the school counsel Magellan Kazibwe, for he constitutes the foundation body. We share together obviously the aspirations, vision, mission, values and goals of the institution. We plan and execute our plans together. We accord to MATCO the best leadership together and indeed our team is solid and strong.

Our core mandate as the BOG is to ensure that MATCO is governed and managed in line with the law, policies and guidelines of the Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Education and Sports. This is coupled with the responsibility of causing MATCO to offer the approved Competence Based Curriculum and with all its associated requirements. For that matter, we are part and parcel of the school management.

MATCO is an organized, fully registered secondary school with all the essential amenities to offer the most appropriate and up to-date education to our children. We have a UNEB centre; vibrant, competent and dedicated administrators and staff whom we regularly support with adequate on job training skills, mentorship, guidance, re-tooling through workshops, bench marking and exposures.

It is a well-known fact that MATCO has an exciting track record of excellent performance over the last 2(two) decades. The college has resoundly and proudly produced multitudes of professionals whom it nurtured from senior one to senior six such as medical doctors, engineers, lawyers, surveyors, architects, computer specialists, journalists, teachers, administrators, nurses and many others. There is no child who has gone through our hands that can regret having studied at MATCO. We perennially celebrate excellent performance in national exams.

In addition to the above, our college offers a balanced curriculum and holistic education to produce all-round learners whose potentials in academics, vocational skills and talents are discovered, nurtured and developed by us. With the competition for jobs in the world outside school, our products should favorably fit in and succeed.

Interestingly, my colleagues and I are also parents in MATCO, so we know and consume the quality services we offer to the entire students’ body, sponsors, parents and guardians for that matter. Therefore, I call upon every sponsor, parent and guardian who is yearning to take his or her child to a school with a balanced curriculum, an organized leadership, stable administration, competent, vibrant, well-motivated staff and modern facilities to choose MATCO. I personally guarantee to you all that we shall give every sponsor, parent and guardian the real value for money. To our children leaving P7 and S4; you’re most welcome to land in the safest hands of the education experts.

See you all. May God bless MATCO and all its stakeholders.
